About this project
The Canadian Hispanic Bar Association needed a modern web presence to serve their growing membership of Hispanic and Latin American lawyers across Canada. We built a Webflow site integrated with Outseta for member authentication, gated content, and subscription management. The platform features a searchable lawyer directory, event listings with registration, a news and blog archive, job board, student initiatives section, and a members-only forum. Key challenges included designing an intuitive directory search experience and integrating the membership portal seamlessly with the public-facing site. We also structured content across multiple sections — advocacy, events, and mentorship — while keeping navigation clean and accessible.
Challenge
The Canadian Hispanic Bar Association served a growing, dispersed membership of Hispanic and Latin American lawyers across Canada but lacked a centralized digital home. Their existing online presence couldn't support member authentication, gated content, or the event and directory features the community needed. Content was spread across multiple sections — advocacy, mentorship, events, and the job board. This created a navigation challenge that required careful information architecture to keep the experience clean and accessible.
What We Built
We designed and developed a Webflow site integrated with Outseta for member authentication, gated content, and subscription management. The platform includes a searchable lawyer directory, event listings with registration, a news and blog archive, job board, and a student initiatives section. A members-only forum gives authenticated users a private space for discussion and resources. Public pages establish credibility and community presence, while the authenticated portal delivers members-only value.
Services Provided
Webflow development, Outseta integration (authentication, subscriptions, gated content), information architecture, UX design, CMS configuration, member portal setup.
Results
CHBA now has a professional, scalable digital home that serves both public-facing community presence and the operational needs of its membership. The lawyer directory makes the association's network discoverable, while the members-only portal reduces administrative overhead for event registration and content access control.
