About this project

Meridian Health needed a modern patient portal to replace their legacy system. We built a full-stack web application using SvelteKit and Supabase that handles appointment scheduling, secure document uploads, and real-time notifications. The platform serves thousands of patients with sub-second page loads and a mobile-first responsive design. Key challenges included HIPAA-compliant data handling, complex scheduling logic with provider availability, and migrating years of patient records from the old system.
